MORE ABOUT US

YSU Legacy Forests was established Fall 2020 by a group of concerned students, faculty and retirees from the YSU Environmental Sciences program.

This program was formed with an honest mission: plant trees to help solve climate change.  In our first planting in Fall 2020, 600 trees were placed by volunteers from many backgrounds, including YSU students, faculty, retirees, alumni and community members.

We invite all Mahoning Valley community residents, YSU students, faculty, and families to come plant with us. Anyone from around the area is invited to come help plant for our future climate.
